Litigation Paralegal

Our client is a leading global business law firm looking for a collaborative, results-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has exceptional problem-solving skills. Naviga has been engaged to recruit a Litigation Paralegal to join their team.

Title: Litigation Paralegal
Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid (minimum of three days in-office)

Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions; cite-check and Shepardize cases; and manage document databases for case tracking and discovery
  • Organize trial materials, assist in creating trial binders and exhibits, and support attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials
  • File legal documents in state and federal courts and coordinate service of documents
  • Work with legal software, including Relativity, LexisNexis, and Westlaw, for case analysis and eDiscovery
  • Coordinate efforts among attorneys, clients, outside legal counsel, and vendors

Requirements:
  • 1-year experience as a Litigation Paralegal for individuals with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
  • Without a degree or certificate: 5+ years of legal support experience in litigation
  • Must have strong skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar applications required
  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product
  • Successfully meet deadlines, and expectations, and perform work duties as required
  • Foster positive work relationships
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices
  • Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned
Education: 
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Degree and/or a Paralegal certificate preferred
