Title: Vice President of Business Development Location: Remote, anywhere across the United States other than the West Coast.
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the CEO

Responsibilities:
Manage the business development budget prudently across multichannel marketing and third party resource spend
Manage client pipeline and be the single point of contact for all prospects, coordinating information exchange between prospective clients and project delivery team
Close deals in line with goals supporting the agreed financial plan
Planning and overseeing marketing initiatives.
Researching organizations and individuals in target market to find new opportunities.
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Building a high performing business development team
Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of related experience in sales or marketing.
Possession of a good Rolodex of client prospects and ability to hit the ground running
Ability to communicate across the client organization from the C-suite to business, technology and project delivery teams
Ability to translate client engagement back to the team in a way that spurs the best utilization of existing capabilities and development of new products/solutions
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Proficient in the MS-Office /Office365 Suite of products
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related preferred or extensive business development experience with a successful track record
