Title: Private Equity Attorney (Professional Track)
Location: Hybrid - Boston, MA

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary attorney responsible for diligence on M&A transactions and support leveraged buy-out transactions.
  • Represent clients in daily matters, including equity grants and corporate governance.
  • Work as part of a team in a cutting-edge, cross-border practice.
  • Provide high-quality, timely, and well-reasoned legal work, including complex legal analysis and research.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and staff.
  • Travel as required for client meetings, advocacy, or business development.
Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
  • 1-3 years of transactional law experience, preferably from an AmLaw 100 law firm or with SEC experience.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and good business judgment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Ability to influence others and provide persuasive communication.
  • Demonstrated management skills and ability to foster client relationships.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both verbally and in writing.
  • Deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines, while managing competing demands.
  • Be available as needed to ensure timely delivery of services, including after-hours work.
  • Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both sedentary and physical activities, including computer work, virtual meetings, and client visits.
Education: 
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school.
