Title: Leveraged Finance Of Counsel
Location: Hybrid -New York, NY

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, structure, and execute a variety of transactions, including first lien, unitranche, stretch senior, second lien, and subordinated loan transactions
  • Work on ABL facilities, subscription facilities, and NAV facilities
  • Handle structured equity investments, such as non-traditional preferred stock financings and equity co-investments
Requirements:
  • Licensed to practice in the New York
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, debt capital markets, private credit, fund finance, and/or structured finance.
  • Experience at a direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, business judgment, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Deliver high-quality, accurate work products promptly.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Foster positive working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and expectations.
Education: 
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school
