Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the Client Accounts team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assignments.
Analyze workflows and team metrics, recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide hands-on training, mentoring, and coaching to team members, ensuring consistent application of billing policies and procedures.
Resolve billing inquiries and assist attorneys with processing and collection of invoices.
Lead project management initiatives, including project planning, development, and execution.
Serve as a subject-matter expert for the team, addressing complex issues and providing guidance.
Facilitate team meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking key discussion points.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment by coaching, mentoring, and providing regular feedback to staff.
Stay current on industry best practices, identifying and implementing solutions to improve operations.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in a complex billing function within a law firm or professional services organization.
4+ years of experience managing or overseeing a billing/invoicing team.
Experience with Elite and/or Aderant, e-Billing applications, and Business Intelligence software is preferred.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and implement effective solutions.
Strategic and innovative thinker with attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring and team development.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
