Title: Mid-Level Private Equity Associate
Location: Hybrid - Austin, TX

Responsibilities:
- Advise private equity firms and their portfolio companies on complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments, and general corporate matters.
- Draft and review transaction documents, negotiate terms, and support clients in executing deals.
- Provide strategic legal counsel across various private equity-related corporate matters.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective execution of transactions.
- Maintain awareness of current trends and developments in private equity and corporate law.
Requirements:
- Admitted to practice in Texas.
- Minimum 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a variety of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity investments and other general corporate matters.
- Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and business judgment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, and persuasive communication abilities.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties both verbally and in writing.
- Deliver high-quality, timely work products while meeting deadlines.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school.
