Our client is a trusted, family-owned, supplier of capital equipment and engineered solutions with 20 locations throughout the US. Due to growth and market expansion, Naviga has been retained to recruit a Rental Sales Representative.

Location: New Orleans, LA

Responsibilities:
  • Sell short- and long-term rental equipment solutions, including Class 5 outdoor-use products, to a wide range of commercial customers.
  • Identify and engage prospects through in-person visits, cold calling, referrals, and upselling existing accounts.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of rental clients and manage ongoing relationships post-sale to drive repeat business.
  • Partner with internal Sales Representatives on lease conversions and rental-to-sale opportunities.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics CRM (mobile-enabled) to track activities, manage pipeline, and maintain accurate records.
  • Work cross-functionally with the service, parts, and branch teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Act as the face of the company in the field, promoting professionalism, reliability, and customer-first service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years B2B sales experience, with a strong preference for rental equipment or construction-related sales.
  • Track record of prospecting, closing, and maintaining customer relationships in a competitive market.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience selling to small and mid-size businesses, with the ability to adjust for enterprise-level prospects.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools and mobile CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a territory.
Pre Employment Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and background check
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required
