Responsibilities:
Focus on energy transition financing matters, including transactions involving renewable energy projects and companies.
Advise on financing, M&A, tax equity, and renewable energy tax credit monetization.
Work on internationally recognized energy transition matters and innovative financing deals in the sector.
Draft and negotiate complex financing documents, agreements, and transactional materials.
Provide strategic legal guidance on the financial aspects of energy transition projects.
Requirements:
Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where applying.
Minimum of 9 years of experience in energy transition finance, with expertise in financing and M&A transactions.
Proven experience in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects.
Excellent attention to detail, business judgment, and organizational skills.
Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
Deliver high-quality, timely work products while meeting deadlines and expectations.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring compliance with firm policies and practices.
Manage competing priorities and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school
