Our client, 15 years, our client has offered mechanical services and sales for specialty equipment and vehicles in the emergency, tactical and rescue industry.  They are a full service facility including onsite refurbishing, new equipment sales, repair and service for customers.  Naviga has been retained to identify a dynamic COO to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the company’s business goals.

• Streamline and enhance business processes, ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Work with the CFO to manage budgets, financial planning, and cost control.

• Establish KPIs and metrics to measure and improve company performance.

• Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement business growth strategies.

• Oversee department heads, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

• Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure business continuity.

• Ensure company operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Leverage technology and digital solutions to enhance business operations.

• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a COO or in a senior operational leadership role.

• Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L.

• Expertise in process improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic planning.

• Experience in scaling businesses, managing cross-functional teams, and driving company growth.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
