Title: Contract Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Onsite - New York, NY
Hours: M-F 9-5:30
Duration: Temp to Permanent

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to department partners and legal professionals, including coverage for overflow and team absences
- Manage complex calendars and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Schedule meetings and virtual calls (Teams, Zoom) and handle conference logistics
- Prepare, edit, and format legal documents in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Process expense reports and assist with client billing and related administrative duties
- Interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and internal departments
- Serve as part of a collaborative client service team, offering backup assistance as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong experience managing calendars and booking travel for multiple attorneys
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to redline, format, and proofread complex legal documents
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Education:
- High School or GED
- Bachelor's Degree or some college coursework strongly preferred
