Responsibilities:
- Focus on financing for energy transition and data center projects.
- Work on internationally recognized matters, including innovative financing deals in the energy transition space.
- Draft and negotiate loan and security documentation, and manage complex closings.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team and provide strategic legal counsel to clients in the energy and digital infrastructure sectors.
Requirements:
- Admission to practice in the jurisdiction where applying.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in project finance or related financings for energy transition or digital infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating financing documentation and coordinating complex closings.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, business judgment, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong research, problem-solving, conceptual thinking, and management skills.
- Ability to influence others and provide persuasive communication.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties both verbally and in writing.
- Provide high-quality, accurate work products and meet deadlines.
- Manage competing demands and foster positive work relationships.
- Comply with firm policies while handling both sedentary work (e.g., working at a computer) and virtual meetings.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school
