Title: IP Patent Paralegal
Location: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Boston

Responsibilities:
- Completes standard U.S. trademark and patent application filings
- Completes individual or limited group foreign filing programs, including legalization of documents
- Assists with supervised prosecution work on all U.S. and foreign applications
- Handles assignments and post registration filings for U.S. registrations
- Handles U.S. filings for foreign based clients
- Keeps clients apprised of the status of marks and patents
- Manages data rooms and matter files
Requirements:
- 1 year experience as a Litigation Paralegal for individuals with a bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
- Individuals without a degree or certification requires five years' legal support experience in the specific practice area
- Must have strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience with legal software such as Relativity, LexisNexis, Westlaw or similar application required
- Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties
- Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner
- Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product
- Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required
- Foster positive work relationships
- Comply with all firm policies and practices
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed
- Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.
Education:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Degree and/or a Paralegal certificate preferred
