The Opportunity
This is a critical, full-time, in-office position with regular customer visits within the 3 country area. The position is vital to achieving aggressive sales growth with estimations and expanding the customer base. The company is motivated to fill the position quickly. The role requires managing a territory within a 60 to 75-mile radius around Tarpon Springs, FL. A company car (with gas card paid for commuting) is provided.
Location:Tarpon Springs, FL in office position with regular customer visits.
What You Will Do
The core function is sales and estimating for fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, along with other low-voltage work. You will be expected to:
Meet sales goals and commitments.
Generate new business through personal contacts, general contractors, customer site visits, and face-to-face meetings.
Manage a sales cycle typically ranging from one to six months.
Work with an average deal price from $15,000 to $275,000.
Obtain customer information to create a scope of work, write proposals, and work closely with technical and operations teams to prepare accurate quotes.
Estimation Process:
Site Surveys: You will conduct regular site visits to evaluate existing building structures and fire safety needs.
Scoping & Technical Writing: You will obtain detailed customer information to create an accurate "Scope of Work".
Accurate Quoting: You will collaborate closely with the technical and operations teams to prepare precise quotes that account for labor, materials, and local fire safety codes.
Proposal Development: Using your professional grammar and typing skills, you will write comprehensive proposals that clearly outline the technical solutions for the client.
