Our client is a leading technology-driven firm specializing in roadway data collection, pavement management, and infrastructure assessment. With decades of experience, the company provides automated data collection, specialized testing, and software solutions for government agencies, municipalities, and engineering firms.

Recently, the company has expanded into airport runway testing and large-scale highway contracts, reinforcing its position as an industry leader. They are adding to their team and seeking a skilled Director of Client Services to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  • Comfortable leading, mentoring, and managing a team of Client Service Managers (CSMs) to drive revenue and client success.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to refine sales strategies, optimize client coverage, and assess hiring needs.
  • Oversee pipeline management, RFP responses (70% of sales), and sole-source opportunities (30%) to maximize win rates.
  • Work closely with marketing, engineers, and proposal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Implement streamlined sales processes, CRM best practices (Salesforce), and performance metrics to enhance efficiency.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of people management experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably within a consultative, complex deal environment.
  • Experience in government, municipal, or SLED sales strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, RFPs, and long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and support sales initiatives.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
