Title: Litigation Of Counsel (Science Background Required)
Location: Hybrid -AZ, CA, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA, WA

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients, providing strategic legal counsel and managing expectations.
  • Supervise associates and manage litigation teams.
  • Work with experts to assist in fact development and depositions.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Contribute to the development of case strategy and litigation plans.
Requirements:
  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where applying (candidates licensed in New York are encouraged to apply).
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, ideally gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Science background required.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation is essential.
  • Pharmaceutical and medical device industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Ability to influence others and demonstrate persuasive communication.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties, both verbally and in writing.
  • Deliver high-quality, timely work products and meet deadlines.
  • Foster positive work relationships and ensure the successful completion of team projects.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices while maintaining performance expectations.
Education: 
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally ranked law school.
  • MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology degree required
