Responsibilities:
  • Maintain daily involvement within the branch departments to facilitate collaboration between sales, service, parts, and rental.
  • Achieve financial objectives by driving the performance of financial operational plans and budgets.
  • Continuously assess talent at all levels within the branch and provide specific ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to develop the best talent in the industry.
  • Recruit, interview, and take ownership of all hiring decisions to ensure only top diversified talent is onboarded.
  • Promote positive employee relations, including fostering high team morale, upholding operational standards, and executing the performance management process.
  • Lead and facilitate weekly team meetings to ensure effective communication and motivation at all levels of the organization.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure the company is promoting the best value and quality.
  • Approve weekly schedules to ensure the location is on target with the business plan.
  • Partner with Operations Service Group (OSG) and Shared Services Group (SSG) (i.e., Operations, Human Resources, Finance) to develop and execute a sound and obtainable business plan.
  • Approve invoices and reports sent to OSG and ensure the location aligns with the budget every week.
  • Manage and coordinate all requests received from other branches or OSG.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a $25-30MM P&L.
  • 2+ years of hands-on leadership experience managing teams of 25-50+ people, including overseeing leaders such as service managers and parts managers, while actively engaging in day-to-day operations and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with confidence and assertiveness, engaging and inspiring others.
  • Proven track record of proactive ownership and the ability to drive results without hesitation.
  • Actively involved in all aspects of the business, including leading sales calls and overseeing daily operations, ensuring a visible and impactful leadership presence.
  • Proven experience in revenue generation, with the ability to analyze income statements and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Strong customer service, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding leadership and people development abilities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including problem analysis, decision-making, and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and branch focus accordingly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Experience in the transportation and mobility equipment sector is preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
