Title:  Sales Representative
Location:  Baltimore
 
Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Director of Sales

Responsibilities: 
  • Finds, penetrates, designs, presents solutions, and closes deals
  • Identifies, meets & develops rapport with target companies
  • Develops personalized business plans by customer account to ensure maximum customer and profit satisfaction
  • Meets or exceeds assigned market share and profitability objectives
  • Designs and implements a vigorous prospecting plan to find, develop and execute sales opportunities
  • Sells all items from the portfolio to new and some existing customers within assigned accounts and geography
  • Maintains detailed account profiles and prepares sales reports as required
  • Enhances professional delivery by continuously increasing product & industry knowledge and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborates and shares knowledge with various team members and departments
  • Attends and participates at company supported events and industry trade shows
  • Builds and maintains ongoing awareness of new products, services, competitor activities and market data
 
Requirements:
  • Experience selling mechanical solutions related to controls, HVAC, fire alarm systems for example
  • Mechanically inclined with some electrical knowledge
  • Must be tech savvy and able to work in a CRM system
  • Some experience selling into hospitality, food/beverage, or healthcare industries
  • Must have a demonstrated track record of finding, selling, and closing new business in a B2B environment
  • All candidates must be able to work well independently, be self-confident, authentic in their abilities and demeanor, and be someone who approaches the world with optimism
  • Ability to sell by blending humor, authenticity, and intelligent yet compelling conversations
  • Must have prior success selling to top management and decision makers in a competitive market
  • Should be a self- starter, highly motivated, and have a track record demonstrating that you are a high achiever
  • Must be internally driven to have success, want to help people, and sell with purpose
  • Knowledge in the cleaning and fire protection business is a bonus but not required
Education:  College Degree is preferred but not required
