Regional Sales Manager

Our client is a globally recognized and trusted manufacturer in the aluminum temporary structures industry, providing one of the largest and most diverse selections of temporary and semi-permanent event tents and structures to both private and public sectors worldwide. Naviga has been retained to recruit a Regional Sales Manager.

Title: Regional Sales Manager 
Location: Remote, US (ideally Midwest, but open to any market in the US)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in the Events and Industrial/Commercial segments
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including company owners, procurement managers, and technical managers
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to demonstrate product capabilities and value propositions
  • Handle client inquiries, provide technical consultations, and customize solutions based on client needs
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate leads from the website and other channels
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to ensure consistent sales performance
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure, typically within 4 weeks, with some large projects taking up to 6+ months
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure product designs meet client specifications and standards
  • Manage post-sale activities, including client support, project follow-ups, and addressing any issues

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of consultative sales experience, selling tent systems and temporary building structures
  • Strong understanding of basic design guidelines and the ability to consult on technical aspects of products
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-value deals ranging from $100k to $2M, typically between $100k and $300k
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel across North America to meet clients and prospects

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred but not required
