Responsibilities:
Provides technical expertise in developing financial reports and summaries, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and analysis, and preparing presentations
Creates reports and analyses that highlight the financial performance related to budgets, production, fees and revenue
Analyzes and communicates with both internal stakeholders (attorneys, other staff departments) and international colleagues as needed on a variety of matters to include current state and forecasted financial activity at the matter and client level
Conduct thorough research and data collection to fulfill assignments leveraging firm tools and databases and internal points of contact
Regular communication and status reporting (both written and verbal) to senior leaders (Partners, Chiefs, Directors) and other management
Requirements:
5 years operations and project management experience required
Demonstrable proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, databases, to include demonstrated experience using vLookup and PivotTable functions
Must have experience with contract negotiations and have advanced analytical skills
Solid analytical skills required along with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to foster clear and constructive communications at all times with colleagues at all levels of the firm, both attorney and staff
Preferred candidates have exposure to data visualization software (e.g. PowerBI) and/or Legal Technology (e.g. HighQ, Litera, etc)
Previous experience in a law firm or other professional services firm also desirable
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Construction Management or related field
