Responsibilities:
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals
Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term financial modeling, and strategic planning to drive sustainable growth
Oversee forecasting, variance analysis, revenue, and cost management, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team
Present key financial metrics and dashboards to executives, supporting the company’s productivity and efficiency objectives
Prepare and deliver financial reports and analysis to key stakeholders, including CEO, Operations, and Sales, and, when applicable, investors
Instill best practices, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes
Partner with Operations, Training, and Sales teams to integrate financial insights into broader strategic planning
Support expansion initiatives with financial guidance, ensuring alignment with company growth targets
Optimize financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability.
Identify and implement system improvements that drive operational and financial efficiencies across the company
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in an accounting firm or in transaction advisory services
Preferred background in accounting and financial roles within multi-location businesses, especially in brick-and-mortar or mobile operations.
Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus
Knowledge of performance metrics, especially related to bonus structures, is preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and executives (Operations, Sales, CEO, and potentially investors)
Empathetic, yet thick-skinned and versatile; able to address complex customer-facing issues like collections and accounts payable
Semi-extroverted and comfortable engaging directly with various personalities across the organization
Strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, detail orientation, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and ambitious, able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
