Our client is a recognized global leader in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) category. Naviga has been retained to recruit a Solutions Consultant to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:
Customer and prospect management & account planning, including the ability to create sales strategies and actions to grow your pipeline of prospects and close new customers;
Advise manufacturing engineers within the discrete manufacturing sector on solutions they can benefit from implementing;
Develop and nurture relationships with channel partner;
Knowledge of the use of software to drive efficiency and quality improvements in midsize and enterprise accounts
Consultative selling / value selling expertise;
Create winning presentations and proposals;
Forecast accurate numbers and utilize CRM tools
Required Background:
Experience selling a solution to the discrete manufacturing space, has walked the floors of manufacturing space and are confident in advising manufacturing engineers on solutions (intangible solution or software)
Must have a manufacturing background with technical/engineering consultative experience
This person needs to be highly entrepreneurial! Willing to do what it takes to close the deal. Self-starter, figure it out, type of mindset.
Needs to have a consultative approach when selling/talking to customers
Must be able to relate/resonate with customers and present value propositions
Ability to find value propositions within factories to become more efficient & provide better quality (i.e.: "if you make this investment, you will get this in return as a result" value propositions)
Understands the value stream as it applies to manufacturing
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required; Engineering Degree preferred
Travel: 50%+ travel as needed to successfully manage a large geographic territory.
